METEC SEMARANG berdiri di Kota Semarang pada Tahun 1996. PT.METEC SEMARANG merupakan anak perusahaan KUBOTA CORPORATION JEPANG. Bidang usaha PT. METEC SEMARANG adalah Manufacture Vending Machine.
Nama METEC adalah singkatan dari : 
M : Metal Work
E : Electronics
T : Thermo
E : Export
C : Component 
Pada awalnya, PT.METEC SEMARANG hanya membuat spare part Vending Machine / Mesin Penjual Otomatis saja. Namun, sejak bulan April 2003, PT.METEC SEMARANG telah mengekspor produk jadi ke Jepang. Dan saat ini, PT. METEC SEMARANG melayani Pangsa Pasar Domestik ( Indonesia ), Asia Tenggara, Australia dan China.
Untuk Lowongan Kerja di PT Ini adalah sebagai Sales dan Marketing dengan persyaratan sebagai berikut:
Requirements:
  • Degree holder, major in Economics or Technology
  • Having business experience of more than 8 years in the sales or marketing department.
  • Having management experience of more than 3 years in the sales or marketing department.
  • Preferably having working experience background from electric, mechatronics or similar industry to the vending machine.
  • Possess fundamental business acumen.
  • Knowledgeable current market situation of electric or mechatronics or similar industry to the vending machine.
  • Judgment and Decision Making - Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.
  • Having a deep sense of mission about achieving goals.
  • Having a fundamental marketing skills, advertising, making a promotion, market research and market analysis.
  • Having ability to comprehend company’s business strategy.
  • Management of Personnel Resources - Motivating, developing, and directing people as they work, identifying the best people for the job.
  • Analythical and problem solving skill.
  • Good interpersonal skill and pleasant personality.
  • Having good communication skill.
  • Having strong leadership
  • English Language - Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
  • Having computer literate.
  •  Frequent travel is required.
  • Be familiar with Jakarta area and have a good networking in Jakarta area. 
Responsibilities:
  •  Aims to popularize KUBOTA vending machine throughout the world and contribute toan improvement in the livelihood of people in accordance with KUBOTA corporate philosophy.
  • Accomplishes marketing and sales human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting,orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and discipliningemployees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures.
  • Achieves marketing and sales operational objectives by contributing marketing and sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change.
  • Meets marketing and sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
  • Determines annual and gross-profit plans by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products; analyzing trends and results; establishing pricing strategies; recommending selling prices; monitoring costs, competition, supply, and demand.
  • Accomplishes marketing and sales objectives by planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating advertising, merchandising, and trade promotion programs; developing field sales action plans.
  • Identifies marketing opportunities by identifying consumer requirements; defining market, competitor's share, and competitor's strengths and weaknesses; forecasting projected business; establishing targeted market share.
  • Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
  • Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Accomplishes marketing and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
